Webinar Description

NAGT is excited to announce that elections for section leadership will now be online alongside national and division elections. We hope that this change will help expand access to NAGT leadership and opportunities to get involved. NAGT sections offer a chance to dig deep in exploring regional issues, sharing ideas for place-based learning (and getting into the field!), as well as connecting with your local geoscience education community. This session will highlight ways to engage with NAGT at the section level from events to opportunities for leadership. Join to learn more and meet representatives from your section!

Goals

1. Promoting knowledge about NAGT sections and ways to get involved
2. Highlighting the new elections process and opportunities for leadership
3. Sharing ideas for activities and events that NAGT sections have and can do
4. Connecting members in different NAGT sections and fostering community online

Duration: 1 hour
Format: Presentations will take place through a Zoom Meeting screen-sharing session. The webinar will be recorded.
