June 9, 2015
4pm Eastern | 3pm Central | 2pm Mountain | 1pm Pacific
Announcing a webinar designed for everyone interested in implementing the Next Generation Science Standards in Earth and Space Science.
Description and Agenda
Over two and a half days at the end of April, more than 50 people interested in geoscience education came together to share ideas about how to support the implementation of the Next Generation Science Standards in Earth and Space Science at a meeting in Silver Spring, MD. This webinar is designed to expand involvement and maintain the momentum of that meeting by initiating a community conversation about networking opportunities, actions that can be undertaken at all levels, and how best to engage geoscience community members during "Town Hall Meetings" at the conferences of the Geological Society of America (GSA), November 1 – 4, 2015, and the American Geophysical Union (AGU), December 14 – 18, 2015. Information about outcomes of the meeting that offer insight into further individual and collective action will also be discussed.
Registration for this webinar is closed.

The webinar will engage participant discussion around these three general themes.
- What are some networking outcomes from the Summit?
- What does action look like rolling out from the Summit?
