Information for OEST State/Province Winners

Congratulations on your selection as a National Association of Geoscience Teachers "Outstanding Earth Science Teacher" for your state or province! As a State/Province winner, you will receive:

• From the National Association of Geoscience Teachers (NAGT):
  • An award certificate
  • A 2-year membership in NAGT (see member benefits for K-12 educators)
• From the Geological Society of America (GSA):
  • A 1-year K-12 Teacher membership in GSA
  • A 1-year membership in GSA's Geoscience Education Division
• From the American Geosciences Institute (AGI):
  • An Earth Science Week kit 
• From the National Earth Science Teachers Association (NESTA):
  • A two-year membership and subscription to The Earth Scientist 
• From the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS):
  • Copy of Earth as Art book 

You should expect to receive these perks over the months following the announcement of the award winners.

OEST State/Province and Section winners are strongly encouraged to take an active role in NAGT, NESTA, and all other organizations that support the OEST Award Program.
