Description

The University of Alabama Geology Field Course (GEO 495) is a five-week, six-credit course held in Alabama and New Mexico. The course teaches the essentials of field geology, including writing geological notes, use of topographic maps, map making, cross section construction, scientific report writing, and interpreting the regional geology at selected locations.
