Description
This is the evolution of the traditional geology field camp! It is a hybrid course that consists of ~ two weeks of online instruction (both synchronous and asynchronous) and 3 weeks of field mapping in the Dolomites of Eastern Italy. The field part is modeled as an apprenticeship; students work with professional geologists. The minimal travel time to outcrops and the field location makes it possible to carry out several mapping projects in a short time.
