U Minnesota Hydrogeology Summer Field Course

Description
This 3-week field camp (2 weeks in-person at the U MN Itasca Biological Research Station, and 1 week hybrid out of the UMN-Twin Cities campus) focuses on our field site in north-central Minnesota in a glacial/fluvial aquifer system. Enrollment is limited to 30 students in order to maintain a low student to instructor ratio. Activities include aquifer pump tests, groundwater-surface water methods, and technical report writing (more on our website). Undergraduate and graduate course numbers are available.

4 credits for undergrad level, 2 credits for graduate level
