Description

UA Little Rock is offering a 3-week, 3-credit Field Geology course located in northern New Mexico and southwestern Colorado. This field camp provides students with experience in collecting field observations, interpreting stratigraphic sections, analyzing structural relationships, and creating geologic maps in the field. Additionally, new projects related to the hydrogeology of southern Colorado are in preparation for the Summer 2025 field season. We welcome students from other colleges and universities who need to complete a field camp requirement for their degree programs.

Tuition - ~$800 (resident) or ~$2000 (non-resident)
Other course fees - $1200

Other Important Information

Tuition and the field camp fee covers all transportation (university vans) from Little Rock to the various field camp locations and back to Little Rock at the end of camp, plus all lodging/camping and most meals during the three-week camp. Students are responsible for their own meals on travel days.
