Description
This course is an evolving field experience for traditional geology majors and those interested in environmental geoscience. The course is 5 weeks, with a mix of both traditional and modern digital mapping, as well as exercises in stratigraphy and geophysics. We also include two weeks of environmental geoscience-specific exercises designed for those who envision careers in the environmental field.

Other Important Information
This is an in-residence course, with no required camping. All students stay at the permanent Les Huston Geology Field Camp near Cañon City, CO, for the duration of the camp, and all required field areas are nearby. Transportation to Cañon City via Stillwater and meals during camp (except for weekends) are provided as part of the course fees.
