Description

The School of Geosciences at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette offers a integrative six-week (6 credits) summer geology field camp course (May 16 - June 26). Through this course, students will develop their field skills, including rock identification and description, drafting geologic maps and cross-sections, and development of their 4D thinking. The course visits geologically ideal locations (Utah, Wyoming, Montana).

Other Important Information

The field trip includes trips to 6 National Parks (Arches, Canyonlands, Zion, Bryce Canyon, Yellowstone, and Grand Teton). We camp for the majority of the trip.
