Description

Two three week camps that can be taken separately. The winter camp runs during winter break for three weeks, the summer from Mid-May through Early June. The winter camp teaches geomorphic and structural mapping, the May camp varies and may include Hydrology and Geophysics. GIS technology and report writing are integra.

Other Important Information

The winter course usually has one or two weeks of day trips from El Paso. We will work with applicants to find dormitory or other housing for that time. The region exposes a wide variety of spectacularly exposed features. The summer camp is usually taught, in northern New Mexico, Colorado or Utah, although this may be impacted by covid.
