Traveling Workshops Program
The Traveling Workshops Program (TWP) brings NAGT's professional development program to you, working with you to customize a workshop to meet your group's needs. All workshops include personalized facilitation from two experienced leaders; a dedicated, private web space to keep track of resources and work; and a focus on actionable work, including a collective or individual action plan for moving forward after the workshop.
For 2025-26 only, we are reducing the fee for a new workshop theme: Transforming your introductory course. Workshops within this theme bring together everyone involved in teaching an introductory geoscience course, including faculty, adjuncts, teaching assistants, and partners at nearby institutions who teach the same course. Working as a team, we will explore how to actively engage students in introductory courses in authentic investigation and productive discourse to promote a learning environment where everyone can participate and build their confidence and skills in science. For 2025-26 only, the fee for this in-person workshop is reduced to $2000 for up to four workshops. Submit your request today!
Date/time: scheduled to meet your needs
