2018 Awardee - David Mogk, Montana State University


David Mogk has been awarded the 2018 Bob Christman Award by the National Association of Geoscience Teachers.

Dave Mogk, professor of geosciences at Montana State University, has created excellent professional development programs, producing high-quality online resources available through Teach the Earth and contributing to the development of a strong geoscience education community. Notable accomplishments include leading the Teaching Mineralogy program in 1996 which inspired and informed the Teaching X workshop series hosted by Cutting Edge, designing the peer review system used by NAGT, and serving as a founding PI for the On the Cutting Edge program.
