How many pieces are available: Large Collection
I acquired about 70 hand samples, many with thin sections, of the original "Wards 100" suite. (We already own the suite.) I would send single hand samples or thin sections if requested to replace one or more missing from your collection. Or I will send the whole (partial) collection to a "needy" department or program.
Additional Information
I would like shipping cost covered for large number of samples. I'm always interested in nice samples from interesting, known localities. But I'm not looking for a trade; I don't "need" more rocks. I'd love to find an appreciative home for these. They once belonged to John Reid at Hampshire College--a very special guy.
