JGE Publication Charges

The Journal of Geoscience Education is the research publication of the National Association of Geoscience Teachers, a not-for-profit professional society. The standard charge to publish an article in the Journal of Geoscience Education is $100 per page, which supports our strong editorial and review process. However, the ability of authors to pay publication charges will not be a factor in our review process, and authors may request a waiver or reduction of charges if they do not have access to extramural or institutional funds. Publication charge invoices will be issued by the NAGT Executive Office when the article goes to print; at that time, the author(s) may request a fee reduction or waiver.
