2022 Geo 2YC Elections

It is time to vote for the next cadre of leaders for Geo2YC: the two-year college division of NAGT. The ballot includes Vice President (and President Elect for the following year), and and Secretary/Treasurer. Voting begins on June 1 and ends on July 1, 2022.

Cheryl Resnick, Professor of Earth Science, Illinois Central College. In addition to teaching introductory geoscience courses, Cheryl also instructs a 18-day field student courses to the Rocky Mountain and Southwest regions. She also was a participant in the SAGE 2YC "Faculty as Change Agents" program, and serves as an advisory board member of the "Time Scavengers" science communication group (timescavengers.blog).

Angela Daneshmand, Assistant Professor of Earth Sciences, Santiago Canyon College, California. Angela is department chair and a member of the college's Professional Development Committeeand STEM Success Team. She is passionate about finding new ways to help her students connect to Earth Science content, including incorporating games into the classroom.
