This year, NAGT:
- hosted 12 free webinars;
- brought together teachers, faculty, researchers, graduate students, and administrators for the Earth Educators' Rendezvous (EER) in Pasadena, CA;
- engaged early career faculty in learning, sharing, and networking at the Early Career Geoscience Faculty Workshop in St. Paul, MN;
- supported geoscience and environmental science departments, programs, faculty, and graduate students through in-person and virtual Traveling Workshops; and
- recognized and awarded numerous Earth Educators, teaching assistants, and graduate students nationally.
In 2024, we are excited to debut two new online professional development workshops! Stay tuned for more information coming soon. We are also looking forward to the 10th annual Earth Educators' Rendezvous and the 26th annual Workshop for Early Career Geoscience Faculty. We will continue to foster innovative Earth education with webinars, On the Cutting Edge professional development programs, support for online (and face-to-face) teaching, and more. Membership includes discounted rates for many of our professional development opportunities (including $100 off your registration to EER). Your membership also includes access to NAGT's two publications: the Journal of Geoscience Education (JGE), the premier peer-reviewed publication for geoscience education research, curriculum, and instruction, and In The Trenches (ITT), a quarterly forum for geoscience education and educators in the classroom.
