Job Summary

Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology seeks a full-time teacher for its integrative Geosystems science course required of all 12th grade students.

Geosystems (Honors) is the school's capstone science course, which incorporates material in the Earth, atmospheric, and oceanic sciences. The course is intended to apply, exercise, and extend the students' prior experience in biology, chemistry, physics, and mathematics. Format includes lectures, labs, seminars, and projects. Successful candidates will have strong backgrounds in one or more of the disciplines of physics, geology, engineering, geochemistry, mathematics, oceanography, or biology.
