Job Summary

The School of the Environment (SoE) at Washington State University seeks a dynamic and enthusiastic individual with a commitment to undergraduate education to teach courses in the Earth Science curriculum. We are interested in candidates who will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity in higher education through their teaching and service. The responsibilities of this position include teaching introductory-level and upper-division courses within the Earth-Science core curriculum. The field of specialty within Earth Sciences is open, but preference will be given to candidates with a focus on pedagogy and Earth Science Education. This is a nine-month, Assistant Professor (Teaching) Career track faculty position. The appointment is for three-years with possibility of renewal. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, and benefits are competitive. A Ph.D. at the time of appointment is required. It is expected that the successful candidate will begin the appointment on August 16, 2022. This position is located on the Pullman, WA campus.
