Description
The successful candidate will lead the instruction of four courses in the academic 2022-2023 year: undergraduate courses in Sedimentation and Stratigraphy (fall) and Structural Geology (spring), as well as two graduate/upper division undergraduate elective courses in the candidate's field of expertise.
We encourage applications from scholars with active research programs in tectonics, structural geology, stratigraphy, and/or basin studies, and the successful candidate will have full access to the analytical facilities of the Department of Geosciences to further their research goals, including in situ and high-precision U-Pb geochronology, radiogenic and stable isotope geochemistry, and electron microscopy and microbeam analysis.
