Dear NAGT Member,
NAGT will be sponsoring many events and sessions at the Geological Society of America Annual Meeting this September 22 through 25 in Phoenix, AZ. The GSA Meeting is also where the annual business meetings of NAGT take place. Check out NAGT-sponsored activities, courses and sessions at GSA which highlight key issues of importance to geoscience educators at all levels. You can also stop by the NAGT booth to meet officers and other NAGT members and to learn more about how you can be involved.
NAGT is once again looking for volunteers to help staff the NAGT booth at GSA from September 22-25. If you are attending GSA and would like to engage with other NAGT members and officers, geoscience educators, or would just like to get to know some of the NAGT staff, please let us know and we will add you to our volunteer schedule! If you're new to staffing the booth, don't worry; we always have experienced volunteers working alongside first-timers, and we will have a script available. You can volunteer for as little as a one-hour time block if you'd like. If you are interested, please contact Caroline Smith in the NAGT Executive Director's Office at csmith3@carleton.edu.
More information about NAGT activities at GSA will be shared as it becomes available.
Sincerely,
The NAGT Team
