How have you been engaged with NAGT already?

I have been a member for nearly 15 years now. I organized the Fall '22 Field Conference (the first, and so far only, conference since the pandemic), and I have been the second VP for almost two years now.

How does your engagement in NAGT and other professional experience/expertise inform your goals as a leader in NAGT?

Over the years, I enjoyed and learned from the NAGT-FWS Field Conferences that I attended. I also benefited from the personal connections and networking opportunities. I would like to find ways to give new geoscience faculty these same opportunities.

How does your engagement in NAGT and other professional experience/expertise inform your goals as a leader in NAGT?

I fully embrace the NAGT goals and continue to learn from my NAGT colleagues.

How have you been engaged with NAGT already?

I am the secretary/treasurer of the GEO2YC Division of NAGT, I have been a participant in many workshops/conferences held by NAGT.

How does your engagement in NAGT and other professional experience/expertise inform your goals as a leader in NAGT?

Having meaningful conversations with like-minded individuals during workshops/meetings/conferences informs my goals to help strengthen the geoscience community, increase the sense of belonging in our community of practice, and develop geoscience education materials.
