The Department of Marine, Earth, and Atmospheric Sciences (MEAS) at North Carolina State University intends to fill a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in geoscience education research. The MEAS Department invites applications from qualified candidates who focus on geoscience pedagogy. Exceptionally qualified candidates at higher ranks will also be considered.
NC State seeks a colleague whose research and teaching interests are rooted in geoscience education, particularly within the affective, behavioral, and cognitive domains of learning. The successful candidate will focus on one or more areas of the geosciences, including the geosphere, hydrosphere/cryosphere, or atmosphere.
Minimum Experience/Education: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in a geoscience discipline or related field. Applications will be reviewed beginning December 16, 2024, and the position will remain open until filled.
