Colleagues,

Several departments at Mines are collaborating on a shared outreach position. We are very interested in finding an enthusiastic person, and I appreciate any help you can provide in sharing this with potentially interested colleagues. Many thanks!

Shared Development Coordinator
The Departments of Mining Engineering, Geology and Geological Engineering, Geophysics, and Petroleum Engineering ("the Departments") at Colorado School of Mines are seeking a passionate advocate to increase undergraduate enrollment in the Departments' degree programs by executing an outreach program that focuses on accepted students and undeclared undergraduates, especially including women and other underrepresented groups, and by contributing to building an inclusive CSM community.

The Coordinator will lead undergraduate recruitment for the Departments by developing and executing an outreach program that focuses on accepted incoming students as well as CSM students who have not yet declared a major. Collaboration with the Departments, the Office of Admissions and the Office of Marketing/Communication will be required.

Tasks include, but are not limited to, designing and executing an encompassing and dynamic program that includes outreach events to excite and inspire students about relevant careers and degree programs in the Departments, creating and updating marketing materials, coordinating student-alumni-industry interactions, meeting individually with students, and supporting other tasks that nurture a personalized approach to outreach.
