The Environmental Science and Policy Program, at Plymouth State University in central New Hampshire, USA invites applications for a 9-month, non-tenure track Teaching Faculty position beginning in August 2021. This program is a blend of physical science and environmentally-based policy with options in Environmental Science and Environmental Policy.

We encourage applicants who can fill teaching needs in the program's Core and Environmental Science Option, and especially the Earth Sciences: Environmental Geology, Hydrology, Energy and Society, Natural Hazards, plus general education courses in these disciplinary areas. We also welcome applicants who may be able to offer new courses, especially those with potential to be part of an interdisciplinary Cluster (i.e. a Chemistry, Biology, Environment, Meteorology cluster) with content around biogeochemistry, food-water-energy systems, ocean systems, health and the environment and/or environmental justice.

Teaching Faculty are full-time, benefited, promotable positions that are reappointed annually based on positive supervisory reviews and program need. Plymouth State University is transforming the campus to create a first-of-its-kind university holistically organized around interdisciplinary Clusters.
