Annual MONT Users Meeting, 2016

Wednesday July 13, 8:00-1:00

Montana State University SUB Ballroom 235

This meeting has already taken place.

Overview

This is a community gathering to learn more about the new NSF-supported National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure (NNCI) MONT facility. We will provide information on the MONT facilities (Montana Microfabrication Facility, Imaging and Chemical Analysis Laboratory, Center for Biofilm Engineering, Mass Spectrometry facilities), opportunities to access the facility, and explore new research collaborations and networks with colleagues with complementary interests.

Who should attend:

This meeting is especially important for current users of MMF and ICAL (PIs, students and industrial users), to learn about changes on the horizon and to provide feedback about your user experience. We also invite researchers (faculty, undergraduate and graduate students, colleagues from the industrial sector) who are interested in learning more about nano-fabrication, characterization of natural and engineered nano-materials, and potential interactions with microbial life.

Hosted by:

MONT principal investigators and staff from MMF, ICAL, CBE, and MS facilities.

Registration

This meeting is free and open to all current users and researchers who are interested in using the MONT facility. But, we do need you to register to help plan the program. Please confirm your participation using this Registration Form. Registration deadline is Friday July 8, 2016. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Pre-Workshop User Satisfaction Survey

To help us better understand your experience as a current MONT user and your needs in nanotechnology and nanoscience, we ask that you respond to this Pre-Workshop User Satisfaction Survey before Friday, July 8.
