Speaking Up Workshop Application

On May 18, join other NAGT members in the innovative, interactive Speaking Up program by Powerplay and IncluxionWorks. They will guide participants through an immersive approach to bias awareness & intervention in the workplace, with a particular focus for our group on how to manage workshop and group facilitation when discussing DEI topics. On May 19, the participants will have a debrief session with NAGT facilitation to apply lessons from Speaking Up directly to our own experiences, projects, and settings. We will create lasting resources for NAGT members to carry on these lessons.

The workshop will be held online in two parts:

• Thursday, May 18, 2023 10am-1pm PT / 11am-2pm MT / 12pm-3pm CT / 1pm-4pm ET
• Friday, May 19, 2023 10am-12pm PT / 11am-1pm MT / 12pm-2pm CT / 1pm-3pm ET

Participants are invited to join for Thursday only or both sessions, though preference will be given to those who can attend both sessions. Thursday attendance is a prerequisite for participating on Friday.
