GETSI Short course registration

Increasing the data, math, and societal relevance in introductory Earth science courses

Registration deadline: Friday, April 8, 2022

This short course is for any instructor of introductory Earth science courses at college or university level. Community college instructors, including adjunct faculty, are particularly encouraged to participate. Also appropriate for secondary K-12 teachers, who are interested in learning about these methods and adapting materials. Later stage graduate students with some teaching or assistant teaching experience and plans to teach more in the future would also gain from participation.

The course is particularly focused on Southern California instructors, and uses California examples whenever possible.

Mini-course Product Release

In registering for this GETSI short course, I agree that any recording (audio and video) made of me during the webinar may be used by GETSI, UNAVCO and partners for the project website and other collaborative works. I further agree that my contributions to creative works that emerge from course activities may be used for development of future workshop materials, scholarly reports, and promotion of the projects. Attribution for original contributions will be made whenever possible.
