A new module on Teaching with Google Earth has been released, with detailed instructions and many ideas for bringing rich imagery and interactive information into the classroom. There are over 25 different examples of activities using Google Earth.
New Partnership with PKAL
SERC has a new partnership with Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL) incorporating the pedagogic service into PKAL's Pedagogies of Engagement initiative.
1st Day of Class Module
The First Day of Class describes a variety of ways to focus on student learning even on the first day of class, including a collection of examples of activities for the first day of geoscience classes. Engage students with course content, motivate their learning, and establish a positive classroom climate, right from the start.
