This web site is an ongoing project to incorporate the use of computers and the Internet into the undergraduate study of molecular biology and genetics. Here is where students can learn how to use a variety of computing tools to study a central theme in molecular biology, the relationship between the structure and function of macromolecules (DNAs and proteins), as well as issues in genetics, molecular evolution, and biotechnology. Part of the Bioactive Site, it includes online resources, presentations, student research projects in biocomputing, and other helpful links.
