Northern Arizona University's School of Earth Sciences and Environmental Sustainability is currently seeking is seeking a full time, non-tenure track Lecturer, with an appointment beginning as early as January 9, 2017, but most likely starting at the beginning of fall semester – August 14, 2017. The nine-month position is not tenure eligible, but may be renewable based on satisfactory job performance, availability of funding, and program needs.

The successful applicant will teach five sections of the large-enrollment non-majors introductory course GLG112 (Geologic Disasters) and one additional undergraduate majors course each year. Additional responsibilities include curriculum development and management, and service to the School, University, and/or community.

There are no research expectations for this position.

Minimum Qualifications: PhD in Geoscience, Geoscience Education or equivalent as of January 9, 2017 and one year of full time teaching experience or equivalent
