Bring Google Earth into your Geoscience Classroom
Teaching with Google Earth shows instructors how to bring rich imagery and interactive information into the classroom. There are over 25 different examples of activities using Google Earth.

We also have a new set of pages devoted to teaching geologic map interpretation with Google Earth, plus a collection of Google Earth locations for teaching map interpretation.
1st Day of Class Module
The First Day of Class describes a variety of ways to focus on student learning even on the first day of class, including a collection of examples of activities for the first day of geoscience classes. Engage students with course content, motivate their learning, and establish a positive classroom climate, right from the start.
Experience-Based Environmental Projects
Visit the new Starting Point module on teaching with Experience-Based Environmental Projects, which features the Lifestyle Project. This three-week project challenges students to learn about environmental alternatives by modifying their own lifestyles.
